MHYSA Logos

During my time volunteering with the Madison Heights Youth Soccer Association, I had the chance to coach teams from U-6 all the way up to U-19. I also helped out behind the scenes by building their website and setting up full online registration. On the creative side, I designed logos for both the club and select teams—those designs ended up on uniforms, gear, and even the participation medals handed out at the end of each season.

MHYSA Club Team Logo -This is the new logo for the MHYSA club teams. The Board wanted something that could be used on uniforms and gear for teams outside of the select program, and this design fits the bill. We kept the founding member’s initials in that classic, old-school football style and added a clean, simple boot to tie it all together.

MHYSA MFC Select Team Logo –

This is the logo for MHYSA’s select program. I spent some time talking with the club’s founding members to get a feel for its history and worked those details into the design. The seven points on the shield and the seven stripes at the top each represent one of the original founders. The “AC” inside the vintage-style football is a nod to Angus Cameron, who played a big role in getting the program off the ground. The bottom right section marks the start of the select program back in 2006.
